Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) - Adult Services
The Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) format uses evidence-based strategies to teach new and adaptive skills and reduce challenging behaviors to increase a person’s quality of life.
Using the principles of ABA with the goal of reducing challenging behaviors, increasing communication and teaching activities for daily living (ADL) such as:
- personal hygiene
- dressing
- safety skills
- meal preparation and eating
- shopping
- home maintenance
Services are provided to individuals, in French or English, at the centre or in the community in a one-on-one format. Intensive (20+ hours/week) and non-intensive (2-18 hours/week) service options are available.
Support and coaching are provided to all families and stakeholders in the individual's life.
