Training to Support Inclusive Learning
Miriam is proud to announce a new inclusive learning training offering for health care professionals, clinicians, and educational staff, in collaboration with training specialist Sonderly. The online catalog training courses aim to promote an inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all students, including those living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and various mental health issues.
"Classrooms are becoming increasingly diverse in terms of cultural, linguistic, socio-economic, and cognitive backgrounds. School staff must be prepared to adequately address the varied needs of all students. Training on inclusive learning enables the acquisition of new skills and pedagogical strategies to effectively meet the diverse needs of students", explained Warren Greenstone, President and CEO of Miriam.
This new collaborative partnership will provide access to Sonderly™ core foundational training, enriched with the latest research and intervention techniques. The courses, available in both French and English, are designed to be flexible and accessible outside of working hours, thanks to an intuitive online platform.
The training programs target a wide audience, from clinicians to elementary and secondary school teachers, and highlight teaching strategies as well as interventions related to autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and various mental health issues. This initiative represents a step further towards an inclusive society, where education is accessible and tailored to everyone.
A selection of some of the most popular online courses is available at preferential rates through the partnership. For more information about the courses, visit the Sonderly training page.
